How these numbers were gathered
Candy does not publish statistics about its Shorts shelf, so we built them from the catalogue itself. For each series we recorded the number of episodes, which of them play free, the token price on each lock, the tags Candy assigns and whether a licensed performer stars. The charts above are drawn from that list every time the page is generated, so they always agree with the catalogue table at the foot of the charts.
Two limits are worth knowing. The seven members-only series only open for signed-in accounts, so they appear in the series count but not in the episode, price or length figures. And explicitness ratings are ours, not Candy’s; they cover 52 series so far.
What the figures say
Five episodes is the format
Exactly 100 of the 111 open series run five episodes. That length is the whole design: two free episodes to set the scene, three paid ones to deliver. The eleven longer series are the exceptions, and most of them carry low catalogue numbers, which places them among the earliest titles on the shelf.
A third of everything is free
Of the 642 episodes a free account can see, 223 cost nothing, roughly 35 per cent. The share is that high because most series are short: two free episodes out of five is 40 per cent, while in a fifteen-episode run the free part drops to about 13 per cent.
Two prices, one exception in length
Locked episodes cost either 12 or 30 tokens, with no third price anywhere in the catalogue. The cost to finish a series therefore depends on length and on whether a creator stars. Most titles cluster at 36 tokens; the ladder chart shows how quickly the price climbs with the longer runs, up to 384 tokens for the 34-episode series.
Taboo leads the tags
Fifty of the 118 series carry Candy’s Taboo tag, well ahead of MILF with 28 and Nympho with 22. Stepfamily setups account for much of that: the Sister and Mother tags appear on 19 and 18 series respectively. Fantasy, the home of dragon queens and vampires, has eight.
Nothing mild in the ratings
Of the 52 series we have rated, 19 sit at three out of five, 14 at four and 19 at the maximum. The absence of ones and twos is not an oversight. Once past the free episodes, Candy Shorts is consistently explicit, and our scale only separates degrees of it.
Using the numbers
If you are budgeting, the practical takeaways are simple. A standard series is 36 tokens, a creator series 90, and a long run between 48 and 384. The cost page turns that into Premium months, and the catalogue table above gives the finish price of every series.
