About this guide
Candy Shorts AI is a one-person guide to the series shelf on Candy.ai. It exists because the app shows a grid of posters and very little else, and anyone deciding where to spend tokens deserves to know how long a series is, what it costs to finish and how explicit it becomes before they pay.
Who writes it
The site is written and maintained by Omar Brown. He does not work for Candy or its operator, EverAI, and has no access to anything beyond a normal member account.
How the figures are produced
The catalogue is counted from Candy directly: every series, its episode list, which episodes are free, the token price on each lock and the tags Candy assigns. When Candy adds or removes a title, the grid and the charts are regenerated from the new count. Premium prices are taken from Candy’s own plan page and dated where they appear.
How the ratings work
Stars on this site measure explicitness only, from one to five, and they are an editorial judgement rather than anything Candy publishes. A series with no stars has not been rated yet. Review pages also carry an overall score out of five, which weighs story, pacing and value together. Picks on the best series page weigh story, pacing and price as well, and change as the catalogue does.
Where the money comes from
Links to Candy carry a referral code. If a reader later subscribes or buys tokens, Candy pays the site a commission; the price the reader pays does not change. Referral income never decides which series are recommended or how they are rated. There are no adverts and no sponsored reviews.
Corrections
If a number on the site no longer matches the app, the app is right and the site needs fixing. The contact page explains how to report it.
