Privacy
Updated September 2026. This site has no accounts, no comments, no newsletter and no advertising, so it has very little to know about you.
What is stored in your browser
When you confirm that you are 18 or older, the site saves that answer in a small first-party cookie and in your browser’s local storage, so the question does not appear on every page. It holds a single value and expires after a year. Clearing your browser data removes it.
What the server records
Like almost every web server, ours keeps technical logs of requests: the address requested, the time, the browser identifier and the IP address. They are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse, are not combined with anything else and are deleted on a rolling basis. There are no analytics or tracking scripts on these pages.
Links to Candy
Links to Candy include a referral code so that Candy can credit this site if you subscribe. Once you follow one, you are on Candy’s website and under its own privacy policy and cookies, which this site does not control or receive.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal profile, there is usually nothing to access or delete. If you think a log entry relates to you and would like it deleted, use the address on the contact page.
