The premise
A student comes home for a week and finds his father gone on a work trip and his stepmother, Veronica, waiting with a set of rules. House Rules is built around that list: every episode adds a new instruction, and every instruction pushes him a little further from the girlfriend he keeps insisting he is loyal to. Candy files it under its Stepmom, MILF and Taboo tags, and it is one of the series added to the shelf after our September count.
Rules one to four
The first episode is the welcome. Veronica explains that the house runs on her rules and that the first is simple: do as she says. A hot tub is warming up outside, his girlfriend calls to say she is coming to visit the next day, and the second rule arrives on cue: no calling the girlfriend today. He protests that she is his stepmother; she gives him ten minutes to join her in the shower.
Episode two is the resistance and how long it lasts. He turns her down, citing his girlfriend and his father, and spends a night listening through the wall. In the morning there is a fourth rule, about not pretending he heard nothing, and then a message from the girlfriend: she has arrived. That is where the free part ends. The talk across both episodes is direct, but nothing on screen goes past what the lock allows.
The locked three
Episodes three to five take the rules to their conclusion, with the girlfriend now in the house. Being so new, the series carries no explicitness rating and no overall score on this site yet. Like every Candy series, it is adult content from the first locked episode.
The price
Thirty-six tokens for the three paid episodes, the standard rate, which leaves room in a first month of Premium for a second series.
Next to similar titles
The stepmother-with-rules idea is close to Whatever Your Stepmom Says, where the father leaves his young wife in charge with an order to obey her. Veronica Parker fans have two five-star titles to compare it with: Midnight Compartment and Veronica’s Fitting Room. For a creator take on the same weekend-alone scenario, there is Riley Reid’s My Stepmom’s Weekend.
Our take so far
A clean, game-like premise: each rule is a step, and the girlfriend’s arrival gives the paid episodes a clock to beat. It is too early for a score, but the two free episodes are a fair sample, and at 36 tokens the rest is a low-risk unlock for anyone who likes the stepmother scenarios.
